Last preparations
De laatste voorbereidingen. Al het nieuwe drukwerk is gelukkig op tijd binnen. Op de valreep kocht ik nog nieuwe schoenen en een legging, allemaal voor morgen. We hopen op niet teveel regen. Graag tot daar!
The last preparations for the Yvestownfair. The printer delivered the new poster and cards just in time. I bought myself new shoes and a pair of leggings. Now all we have to do is hope the rain will stay away. Happy weekend!
Yvestownfair give-away
Liefde is mijn favoriete Nederlandse woord. Deze bewerking van één van mijn analoge foto’s maakte ik speciaal voor de Yvestownfair, zaterdag. Ik liet er een poster van drukken op A3-formaat. Hebben? Ik geef er eentje weg, laat een comment achter en volgende week woensdag kies ik een winnaar. Na het weekend is de poster ook verkrijgbaar in de shop. Fijne dag!
This is one of my analog photo’s combined with one of my favorite Dutch words, ‘liefde’, which means ‘love’. I made this design for the Yvestownfair, saturday. It’s printed on 170 grams matte paper, size A3. Want one? Just leave a comment, next wednesday I’ll pick a winner. After the weekend the poster will be added to the shop. Have a nice day!
Yvestownfair 2013
Komende zaterdag is het weer zover: de Yvestownfair 2013. We zijn volop met de voorbereidingen bezig. Er liggen nieuwe kaarten bij de drukker die ik zal presenteren op de fair. Verder natuurlijk al onze posters en kaarten voor speciale fair-prijzen en limited edition prints van een aantal van mijn foto’s. Het lijkt mij hartstikke leuk om jullie daar te zien! The Yvestownfair 2013 is almost there and I’m really busy with the preparations. We send new postcards to the printer, fingers crossed they’ll arrive before saturday. At my booth you’ll find all our posters and cards with fair-discounts and a few limited edition prints of some of my photo’s. I’m really looking forward to see all of you there. Count your blessings
Het is alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik mijn blessings telde, maar deze week kon het weer. Mijn moeder mocht eindelijk naar huis, na een hele tijd ziekenhuis. Ik kreeg een ontzettend lief pakje van Leyla, met daarin práchtige chocolade. Ik maakte een grote pan courgettesoep van een enorme courgette die we zelf plukten in een pluktuin. (hier vind je het recept) De snijbiet sneden we ook zelf, wat een schitterende groente is dat. Wat maakte jullie blij afgelopen week?
It’s been a while since I’ve counted my blessings for the last time, but this week was quite a nice one, so here we go: my mother is finally home after a long time in the hospital. Leyla send me the sweetest and tastiest gift, delicious chocolate. I made a large amount zucchini soup from a huge zucchini we picked on a biological farm. (recipe here) And I was amazed by the beauty of the silver beet we harvested on the same farm, oooh those colors! What made you happy last week?
