Ik winkelde wat met een lieve vriendin en vond bij Xenos een waterkaraf die sprekend lijkt op de prachtige karaf van designmerk Seletti. Voor een Xenos-prijs uiteraard; 3,99! Van de verpakking en de smaak van de bananensnoepjes werd ik ook gelukkig. Verder bestelde ik voor Wolf en zijn broertje twee mooie Katvig-items bij Kleine Sam. Wat is er toch veel moois om van te genieten en vast te leggen.

While shopping with a good friend, I found at a cheap Dutch home accessory store a water bottle that looks a lot like the beautiful Seletti-bottles. This one was only 3,99 euro’s! I also fell in love with the lovely package of the banana-candy. (they even taste good!) For Wolf and his little brother I bought two Katvig-items at Kleine Sam. There’s so much nice and beautiful stuff around to enjoy and document.

Kitty Kilian & Wolf

Op de blog Weekly Portrait heeft illustratrice Kitty Kilian zichzelf de uitdaging gesteld wekelijks een portret te bewerken tot illustratie. Ik vond Kitty’s blog via Hiskia en besloot een foto van Wolf in te sturen. Hij werd uitgekozen! Wolf vindt het te gek dat hij samen met poes Thijs een ‘kunstwerk’ (zo noemt hij het, en terecht) is geworden. Casper en ik zijn vooral onder de indruk van de wijze waarop Kitty Wolf’s persoonlijkheid heeft kunnen vangen in een illustratie. Geweldig! Dank Kitty!

On the blog Weekly Portrait illustrator Kitty Kilian sets herself the goal to do a portrait every week. A while ago, I’d send her some pictures of Wolf and he got picked! Wolf finds it so exciting to be in a real ‘piece of art’ (thats what he calls it, and he’s right) together with cat Thijs. Casper and I are impressed by the way Kitty has captured Wolf’s personality in her illustration. What a great job! Thanks Kitty!

Home sweet home

Hoera, Wolf’s zolderkamer is af! Vannacht sliep hij er voor het eerst. Wolf is hartstikke blij met zijn nieuwe kamer! Klik op een willekeurige foto om de slideshow te starten. Vanaf nu heb ik ook een ‘Home sweet home-button’, die vind je aan de rechterkant bij ‘More‘. Als je daarop klikt, verschijnen alle Home sweet homes tot nu toe.
Home sweet home is een initiatief van Barbara, kijk bij haar voor een lijst met alle deelnemers.

Plaid-saturday

Vandaag doe ik niet mee aan lomo-saturday. Ik had me voorgenomen om tijdens ons weekendje weg te gaan fotograferen met mijn Diana, maar ik was zó moe dat ik er niet aan toegekomen ben. Deze week heb ik vooral uitgerust. Volgende week ben ik weer van de partij. Toch lomo’s zien? Check Casper’s, Iris’, Mireille‘s and Marrit‘s blog. Vandaag wat foto’s van Wolf, al dan niet verstopt en met zijn vinger in zijn neus.

Child, blanket and rocking chair, always a good combination. I’m not joining lomo-saturday today. I had the intention to take a lot of Diana-photo’s during our weekend off, but was too tired. There are lomo’s nevertheless; at Casper’s, Iris’, Mireille‘s and Marrit‘s blog. Happy weekend to all of you!
