DIY geometrical kids scarf

Last weekend I was home alone with the kids, as Casper went away to the summerhouse for some birdspotting. (Seriously? Yep.) Wolf, Mus and I had fun building forts, visiting two parties and watching Ice Age on the couch eating crisps and drinking coke. (Not for Mus of course) We were so busy I couldn’t even count my blessings here on the blog. But now it’s monday again so I’m back with a brand new DIY: the geometrical kids scarf.

DIY geometrical kids scarf

Nodig:

You need:
Any fabric you want. (I chose a soft fabric for the inside and cotton for the outside) Iron-on printable transfers. (bought mine here) Sewing machine, iron, thread.

Doen:
Easy as that.

To do:
use the light blue pattern in the second picture (choose ‘toddler’ for 1-3 years and ‘kid’ for 4-9 years) to cut out a front- and backside for your scarf. Place the two pieces of fabric on top of each other, with right sides facing in. Eventually pin together, then sew. Leave 10 cm open and turn inside out. Close the 1o cm. Cut out any form you want from the iron-on printable transfers. Use your iron to attach them to the scarf. Easy as that! Enjoy!

Fijne nieuwe week allemaal! Happy new week!

En o ja, Wolf’s allereerste tand is eruit, zien jullie hoe trots hij is? Wolf lost his first baby tooth, he’s so proud!
