Ik schrijf dus een boek, momenteel. Het gaat over een van de allergrootste passie van mijn leven: fotografie. Ik typ in elk verloren uurtje aan de eettafel, die voor zolang het duurt in de woonkamer staat. ‘s Ochtends word ik wakker met alinea’s in mijn hoofd die ik ‘s avonds heb overdacht. Oh, creatieve processen, ik hou ervan. Gelukkig is het niet mijn eerste keer in dit konijnenhol, dus ik weet dat ik heus wel weer bij zinnen kom, over een tijdje, als het af is.
So I’m writing a book at the moment, about one of my greatest passions photography. It consumes me in a nice way. I can’t stop thinking about sentences, chapters and photographs I want to be in the book. I feel like Frodo carrying the ring to Mordor, except this is a positive burden. I like writing a book. And luckily this isn’t my first time down the rabbit hole, so I know I will get out. Someday, when it’s finished.
