Count your blessings

Wat me afgelopen week blij maakte:

Mijn vakantie is voorbij. ‘Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans’ is behoorlijk van toepassing op de laatste twee weken.

What made me happy last week:
sweet mothersday-presents from my babies. Wolf filled out an ‘sweet mommy-book‘ for me, really cute. Most striking answer? On the question how he’d feel without his mother, he answered: ‘like a hotdog without the sausage’. There we go with our good vegetarian example, haha!  Mus brought a beautiful box with handmade chocolates from daycare, so sweet! (thank you Marlies!)

My vacation is over. Last two weeks were pretty much ‘life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans’. Mus got really ill twice, first exanthema subitum (at least, that’s how my translator calls it in English. In Dutch it’s simply called ‘sixth disease’. It’s a common children’s disease with high fever) and only three days after that he got the chicken-pox. Positive about the whole thing is that I was able to be around all the time, because of my vacation. I didn’t have the time to do the things I’d planned though. Especially answering my mail becomes more and more challenging. So, if you’re waiting for an email; I’m really sorry. Hopefully things will go back on track soon.

Next week, I’m preparing for The Hive in Berlin, where I’ll be a speaker on sunday. Hopefully I’ll meet a couple of you there? There are still a few tickets available. Happy new week!
