Reuzenrad

Ik begon analoog te fotograferen kort nadat ik mijn blog startte. Plaatjes als deze vond ik toen (en nog steeds) te gek, het zijn typische dromerige Lomography-foto’s. Je krijgt dit effect door te werken met een sterk verouderd fotorolletje, deze was eigenlijk houdbaar tot 2005. Lap verder alle fotografie-regels aan je laars en maak bijvoorbeeld gerust (juist!) foto’s recht tegen de zon in, om effecten te krijgen zoals op de laatste foto. Dit reuzenrad stond op de kermis in Antwerpen, ik vind ze altijd wat magisch hebben.

I started with analogue photography short after I started blogging. Photo’s like this really make my heart beat faster, with their bold colors and lots of grain typical Lomography-photo’s. I shot these photo’s with the Nikon FE and expired film. (2005)

Ik ging met de Nikon FE het park in en fotografeerde de overgang van zomer naar herfst. De laatste bloeiende bloemen terwijl de blaadjes al vallen.
Bedankt voor de reacties op mijn vraag over de fotografie-opleiding, ik heb veel aan jullie meningen en ervaringen. Zal jullie op de hoogte houden van eventuele ontwikkelingen op dit gebied.

I went to our small town’s park with the Nikon FE and took some photo’s of the last signs of summer and first signs of autumn. There are still some flowers blooming in fall, such a pretty sight.

Met de rolletjes van Iris die eigenlijk te gebruiken waren tot 2005, maakt de Diana foto’s die geschilderd lijken. Het water stond hoog aan het strand in Zeeland.

Lomo-saturday

Telkens als ik van mijn werk naar huis rijd, kom ik deze boom tegen. Kennelijk werd iemand 16 en gaf hij of zij een feestje. Dat feestje is inmiddels al meer dan een jaar geleden. De 16-jarige is inmiddels 17, de boom is een herinnering aan het feest geworden. Foto’s zijn gemaakt met de Sincere-camera. Nog meer lomo’s zien? Kijk bij Judith, Nikki, Casper, Iris, Mireille, Marrit, Marcia & Aukje.

I see this tree every day when I drive home from work. Probably announcing someones sweet 16-party, for over more than a year now. The party’s over, leaving the tree with a mark forever.
