Dawanda give-away
Ik leerde DaWanda kennen toen ik sprak op de Hive, afgelopen jaar. Ze sponsorden het event. Ik had destijds nog nooit van hen gehoord. DaWanda is de online designmarkt voor alles wat bijzonder, uniek en handgemaakt is. Er worden schitterende spullen verkocht. (ik kocht er al het bordje en de betonnen cupcake uit deze post) Afgelopen week mailden ze me dat ik een Dawanda-voucher kreeg ter waarde van 20 euro, om iets leuks uit te zoeken voor mezelf. Woonbeurs 2012
Hier is ‘ie dan, direct vanaf de Woonbeurs: een ‘liveblog’. Vandaag zit ik samen met met Yvonne, Iris, en Marlous in een bloggerstentje. (zie onder) Casper en Wolf zijn ook even geweest, net als Daan met Maantje Piet en Elvis en Joscha met Pippa. Een grote gezellige bende dus.
Here we are, directly from the Woonbeurs, a ‘liveblog’. Today I’m sitting in a so called ‘bloggershut’ with Yvonne, Iris, and Marlous. Casper and Wolf came by too, just like Daan with Elvis and Maantje Piet and Joscha with Pippa. One happy bunch of people.
Meeting sweet blogreaders, seeing all these inspiring houses (love the 101-house) and booths is really great.

The Eiffel tower
Op de Oh Marie! launchparty kreeg iedereen een piñata met daarin vreemde, bijzondere of grappige kringloop-items. De opdracht is je item te fotograferen in je eigen setting, hierover iets te plaatsen op social media (blog, Instagram, twitter, Facebook) en het vervolgens door te sturen aan iemand die hetzelfde doet. In mijn piñata vond ik een scheve Eiffeltoren, die ik fotografeerde met piepkleine diertjes en wat boeken op een plank. Wie wil de Eiffeltoren na mij hebben? Bij meerdere reacties kies ik at random iemand uit. (Ook leuk: Caspers inzending op Instagram)
On the Oh Marie! launch, there were piñatas filled with small thrifted items for all who attended. With the launch, the items within the piñatas started what hopefully will be an epic journey, which can be followed on the Oh Marie! blog. In my piñata I found this small, old and leaning Eiffel tower. I placed in on my shelf, surrounded it with tiny animals and took some pictures of it. Wanna be the next to give the Eiffel tower a place in your life? Leave a comment, I’ll pick the new Eiffel-owner randomly. (also nice: Casper’s contribution on Instagram)
Oh Marie!
Afgelopen maanden heb ik een bijdrage mogen leveren aan het ontstaan van Oh Marie!, Planet Fur’s Marlous nieuwste project. Een tweetalig digitaal magazine gevuld met prachtige fotografie, dingen om zelf te maken, styling en vintage met een eigenzinnige strik er omheen. Ik mocht mee brainstormen en een reportage maken over kinderkleding samen met mijn vriendin Marieke en onze kindjes. (de bovenste foto is een exclusieve sneakpeek van ‘mijn’ reportage) Mijn lief Casper doet de vormgeving van het project, dus ik heb de opwinding en spanning rondom het ontstaan van Oh Marie! van dichtbij meegemaakt. Zaterdag kwam er aan die spanning eindelijk een einde op de spetterende launch in restaurant LE:EN in Utrecht.
Last months I watched the rise of Oh Marie!, Planet Fur’s Marlous newest project. Oh Marie! is a brand new bilingual (Dutch/English) online magazine. It’s filled with beautiful photography, DIY’s, styling and vintage, all wrapped with a whimsical bow. My love Casper designed the magazine and Marlous asked me for a couple of brainstorms and a contribution to the magazine in the form of a photoshoot. (the first photo is a small sneakpeek) Marlous launched Oh Marie! last saturday and boy, we had a great party.
