DIY customized baby pants

Today an easy DIY about customizing baby’s (or toddlers, or children’s, or your own) pants with textile paint.

Nodig:

You need:
pants, (4,95 or 3 for 10 euros, H&M) Textile-paint, (I bought it here, a store I actually don’t really like because it kills my creativity, but besides that they have a nice assortment hobby materials) a brush and/or stamps of any kind.

Doen:
Klaar!

To do:
Paint or stamp your pattern of choice on the pants. Turn inside out afterwards and iron to seal the paint. (see paint’s instruction manual) Ready, set, wear!

p.s. Mus’ red Nikes were found in a thriftstore near the summerhouse, check it out here. One of the reasons I love blogging this much, it makes the past almost touchable.

Count your blessings

Wat me blij maakte afgelopen week:

What made me happy last week:
getting better after being sick. Seeing the love between father and youngest son. A cute fox-hat, made by Bosliefje. (a bit too small, but who cares) and Wolf’s chestnut-Ninja’s. (wrapped in -unfortunately mine- masking tape) What made you smile last week?

Halloween with LEGO

Wolf loves LEGO and everything scary, so I was really excited to review Room Copenhagen‘s new LEGO Halloween storage heads. The ‘ordinary’ LEGO storage head is one of Wolf’s favorite items (it’s holds the shark teeth he found at the summerhouses beach) so success guaranteed with this new Halloween version.

Happy Halloween!

Wolf was really thrilled when he saw his new treasure keepers (one of them had to spend the night in the dolls cot next to his bed, haha, imagine one of those heads in a dolls cot) and wanted to make pumpkin-soup to get the real ‘Halloween-feeling’. And so we did, we made the ‘Easy-peasy pumpkin soup’. All you need is a small pumpkin, two stock cubes and a dash of chili sauce. Simply cut the pumpkin in small pieces, boil it for 15 minutes in a small amount of water and add the stock cubes. Puree the soup using a food processor or blender. Add the chili sauce and you’re all ready. Happy Halloween!

Donderdag

Some photo’s I took the last couple of days. I’m really glad I feel better because being sick with two little kids around actually isn’t possible.Too bad I missed a cool bloggersdate at the Dutch design week. There’s a cool article about the Yvestownfair in the last issue of 101-woonideeën. Thanks for all your comments on the last post, they make me feel really blessed and thankful for such sweet readers. Happy thursday!
